Plot Summary
Savage State is a historical western drama set during the American Civil War. The film follows a wealthy French family living in Missouri, a region deeply affected by the war. When the conflict intensifies, the family, led by patriarch Edmond (Bruno Todeschini), decides to flee back to France. Accompanied by their three daughters and a former mercenary named Victor (Kevin Janssens), they embark on a perilous journey across the American frontier.
As they travel through dangerous territory, they encounter hostile forces, including outlaws, Confederate soldiers, and a vengeful woman from Victor’s past, Bettie (Kate Moran), who seeks retribution.
